Lived experience speaking
The conversations people remember are the honest ones.
Some subjects are difficult to bring into a workplace. Stress. Mental health. Suicide. Feeling like you are struggling. The risk of staying silent.
I speak about these subjects in a way that is real, respectful and grounded in lived experience. There is no preaching and no pretending that a single talk fixes everything.
What a good talk can do is give people permission to think differently, start a conversation and recognise that looking after yourself or someone else is never a weakness.

Talk topics
- Mental health and wellbeing at work
- Stress and the pressure people carry
- Suicide prevention and starting better conversations
- Physical wellbeing and looking after yourself
- The human side of health and safety
- Men’s wellbeing and breaking the stigma around asking for help
What you can expect
Every talk is shaped around your audience, your setting and the conversation you want to start. Whether it is a team meeting, conference, awareness event or workplace session, the aim is to make the subject feel relevant and safe to discuss.
The sessions are honest, practical and respectful. People should leave with something to think about, something to talk about and a better understanding of how they can look after themselves and others.
Who I speak to
I speak to construction teams, workplaces, community groups, charities, schools and organisations that want to take wellbeing seriously.
If you are not sure what would work for your audience, get in touch and we can talk it through.
Let’s create a conversation that matters.
Tell me about your event, audience and what you want people to take away. I will come back to you with a straightforward approach.
